Eco Nature Apoyo Resort & Spa is located in the heart of one of the most beautiful Tropical Dry Forest Reserves in the region, in the middle of the ‘Apoyo Lagoon Natural Reserve’. Unique not just within Nicaragua- but also in the world, this is the only resort located “within the crater mouth” of an extinct volcano, on the shores of a crystal clear lagoon created thousands of years ago by volcanic activity.

Guests are surrounded 24/7 by monkeys, tropical birds and butterflies. Nature is abundant here! You can enjoy unique experiences such as interaction with monkeys, parrots, and rare tropical birds while enjoying one of the most spectacular views nature can provide. In addition, you will have the rare opportunity to swim in Apoyo Lagoon- one of the very few swimmable crater lakes in the world. The mineral water of the lake is cool enough to refresh, yet warm enough to be comfortable all year round.

The resort can accommodate groups up to 120 people and offers studio apartments, hotel rooms, suites, penthouses and family accommodations in villas equipped with kitchens. As well, pick up at the airport is offered.

Apoyo Resort & Spa has their own daily all-inclusive tours to the top tourist sites within Nicaragua. The majority of sites are within an easy 30 minute drive. Also, the resort offers dining in two Restaurants and several other restaurants are just a short walk away.

The Spa wellness area is staffed by internationally trained therapists and you will love the Spa treatments that are available for guests. For Yoga enthusiasts, there are numerous peaceful spots perfect for your daily Yoga practice. In fact, if there is a yoga group in residence, clients are welcome to join in a session with some of the world’s best teachers and gurus.
